Who and what is the HUFAK?
The Austrian University Students Union for the Angewandte. The HUFAK are students elected by the students of the university every two years.
We provide answers to virtually every questions, whether they be about studies at the “Angewandte” or studying abroad in other countries, social and project support, child care, legal matters, or party organisation…
You are welcome to come by the office for more information, or just a cup of coffee to get to know the HUFAK:

1st floor main building, across the grey area way, “Lichthof”
Social grants
starting with the 6. semester you may apply for a social grant from the HUFAK. Students with children will be favored.

Extra projects support
The HUFAK monetary support for your projects is handed out at four deadlines throughout the year.

Supported are projects with a political or academic relevance to the university or those projects to the benefit of the students.
This does not include trips, single exhibitions, diplomas or doctorial studies.
Class/studio money
For common activities (parties, excursions, trips, …) the HUFAK provides € 350,- per year to the studios of the university.
The studio’s students representatives may get the money in the office with the original bills (including VAT).
Note: the university has an IKEA business card in case you want to buy coaches or other furniture.
