Lindy Hop at Angewandte!

💃💃💃

Lindy Hop is a social dance from the late thirties originating from Harlem, NY.
The partnership consists of a Leader and a Follower. Partners are connected smoothly and gently to each other while improvising together to the swinging Jazz music.

This is an example of two dancers improvising to live music.

Not only because Lindy Hop is a social dance but also because we experienced that students learn much faster and make beautiful connections with new people, we rotate partners during class.
Upon registration, you will need to choose if you want to learn the leader or the follower role.
It is not necessary to register with a partner, however, in order to maintain a nice follower/leader ratio, we might need to start a waiting list in case we have too many registrations for one or the other.

For the class please bring comfortable clothing and sneakers (no black soles).

This workshop consists of 6 classes (1,5 hours each). Total price: €60,
