Starting at a new university might sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you\u2019re arriving from another country\u2026 We, at the Angewandte Student Union (HUFAK)’s International Students and Anti-Racism Department, know that it is not easy to find your way through new systems, cultures, and expectations all at once, and that’s exactly why we are now launching a new Buddy Programme for the Angewandte students.<\/p>\n

All new incoming students are welcome! Students with refugee status or who are still seeking asylum shall be granted priority*<\/p>\n

\nWe are looking for engaged, experienced students who are excited to support new international peers into the vibrant and diverse environment of the Angewandte.<\/p>\n

Would be helpful:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Confidence in finding your way around Vienna,<\/li>\n
  • Basic understanding of university structures,<\/li>\n
  • Experiences handling residence registrations and home searching<\/li>\n
  • Interest in connecting with new international students<\/li>\n
  • 3rd Semester or higher is advised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
