Starting at a new university might sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re arriving from another country… We, at the Angewandte Student Union (HUFAK)’s International Students and Anti-Racism Department, know that it is not easy to find your way through new systems, cultures, and expectations all at once, and that’s exactly why we are now launching a new Buddy Programme for the Angewandte students.
All new incoming students are welcome! Students with refugee status or who are still seeking asylum shall be granted priority*

For those interested in becoming a buddy
We are looking for engaged, experienced students who are excited to support new international peers into the vibrant and diverse environment of the Angewandte.
Would be helpful:
- Confidence in finding your way around Vienna,
- Basic understanding of university structures,
- Experiences handling residence registrations and home searching
- Interest in connecting with new international students
- 3rd Semester or higher is advised
