The University of Applied Arts Vienna is launching a competition of ideas for new toilet pictograms – moving beyond the usual skirt vs. trousers, male vs. female symbols. We are looking for signs that include everyone. New pictograms are being sought for all types of use!

All regular students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna can participate. Deadline for submissions is February 28th, 2026. You can find all details about the competition in the Open Call on the Angewandte website.

Hufak is once again acting as a drop-off point for donations to SOS Balkanroute.

Drop-off times:

• Headlamps and flashlights
• Thermos bottles
• Smartphones (Data will be deleted professionally, please provide PIN code)
• Power banks
