Public documents of the university representationThe Universitätsvertretung (UV) is the “parliament” of Hufak. It consists of 9 mandates who are elected every two years at the ÖH election. The UV is the center of legal power of Hufak: all decisions on how Hufak should spend its money, who to appoint to the Referate, and even the Satzung, are voted on. All UV decisions are voted on by the 9 UV mandates in regular UV meetings, which are open to the public.: the Hufak SatzungThe Satzung (statutes) of Hufak is the legal basis for the organisation of the university representation. While federal law sets some bounds on Hufak’s activities through the Hochschülerschaftsgesetz, many other aspects (such as which departments exist, what constraints there are on the spending limits for StVs etc.) are not set in stone but can be changed by the university representation.
