The department for IT and digital infrastructure maintains all web software tools used by the Hufak team, from the website over mailbox and mailing list management to our own Nextcloud instance.
Department tasks
- administration of Hufak’s self-hosted software infrastructure, in particular:
- WordPress
- Nextcloud
- Telegram Bot
- Supersaas rental system
- Make.com automations
- management and protection of all Hufak accounts on external services
- regular exchange with the university’s Zentraler Informatikdienst (ZID) and Hufak’s Data Protection Officer
- participation in university meetings such as the FOSS user group
To work in this department you should…
- have experience with unix server, mailbox and mailing list administration
- be familiar with CMS systems (in particular WordPress, Nextcloud)
